The B00A00 is a miniature uniaxial IEPE shock accelerometer built on a unique piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with reduced base strain and transverse sensitivity, a wide-band frequency response and a resonance above 50 kHz. With 1 mV/g sensitivity and a ±5,000 g range it is a high-range model in the family for severe shock and impact testing. Typical uses include drop-table and impact testing, blast shock testing, munitions and ordnance qualification and package drop testing.

High-quality ceramics ensure long-term stability and the built-in low-impedance circuit keeps noise low. The HEX 11 × 20.7 mm high-strength stainless-steel housing is laser welded to IP68, weighs just 7.8 g, and carries an industry-standard M5 top connector and an M5 mounting thread at the base, with 10-32 connector and thread versions available.

Built for shock

Shear-mode ceramics with a resonance ≥ 50 kHz and a ≤ 0.5 s discharge time constant capture fast transients cleanly, rated to 10,000 g pk shock. Reduced base strain and ≤ 5% transverse sensitivity keep the signal honest under severe impacts. Non-linearity 1%.

Built-in IEPE electronics

Low-impedance circuit with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation and 8–12 V bias, spectral noise of 400 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz and 0.01 g rms broadband resolution. Drives long cables straight into any IEPE-compatible DAQ.

Rugged stainless housing

Laser-welded HEX 11 × 20.7 mm high-strength stainless-steel housing sealed to IP68, weighing 7.8 g and rated to 6,000 g rms continuous vibration. Top connector with M5 or 10-32 options.
