Overview

The A07D02 is a uniaxial capacitive MEMS accelerometer with true DC response, so it measures static acceleration, tilt and slow motion as well as vibration. A variable-capacitance MEMS element with internal AC excitation and demodulation outputs a single-ended voltage signal proportional to acceleration, and with 135 mV/g sensitivity and a ±30 g range it is a mid-range model in the family, with ±30 g and 1.5 kHz bandwidth for vehicle body and structural work. Typical uses include road-load data acquisition on body and subframe points, civil structural testing and motion measurement on vehicles and machinery.

The response is flat within ±5% from DC to 1.5 kHz, with ≤ 2% transverse sensitivity and 0.1% typical non-linearity (0.3% max), a ±4 V full-scale output and noise of 101 µg/√Hz over 0 – 100 Hz. It runs from any 6 – 30 VDC supply with low power consumption and survives 5,000 g pk shock. The laser-welded titanium-alloy 18 × 18 × 9.2 mm housing weighs 8.7 g, is sealed to IP68, and carries a 1/4-28 4-pin connector with the signal ground isolated from the housing, and two M3 through-holes bolt it down securely at 0.6 N·m.

Rugged sealed titanium

Laser-welded 18 × 18 × 9.2 mm titanium-alloy housing sealed to IP68, weighing 8.7 g, rated to 5,000 g rms vibration and 5,000 g pk shock and −55 to +125 °C. Signal ground isolated from the housing, 1/4-28 4-pin connector and two M3 through-holes for a secure, reliable installation at 0.6 N·m.
