Overview

The B05B00 is a general-purpose uniaxial IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with a wide-bandwidth frequency response. With 50 mV/g sensitivity and a ±100 g range it is a high-sensitivity model in the family for low-level vibration where signal-to-noise matters more than g range. Typical uses include structural and modal testing, rotating machinery monitoring, vibration control and low-amplitude R&D measurements.

High-quality ceramics ensure long-term stability and the built-in low-impedance IEPE circuit keeps output noise low. The HEX 13.1 × 18.8 mm stainless-steel housing is laser welded to IP68 with a low-profile side connector and an M5 mounting thread at the base, with 10-32 connector and thread versions available.

Built-in IEPE electronics

Low-impedance IEPE circuit with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation. Spectral noise of 4.8 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz and 0.0002 g rms broadband resolution for clean, low-noise signals.

Rugged stainless housing

Laser-welded HEX 13.1 × 18.8 mm stainless-steel housing sealed to IP68, weighing 13.3 g and rated to 800 g rms vibration and 2,000 g pk shock. Side connector with M5 or 10-32 options.
