Overview

The B01Y31 is a compact three-axis IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear structure. With 5 mV/g sensitivity and a ±1,000 g range it is the highest-range model in the BXXY31 family, built for high-level vibration and shock testing where headroom matters more than resolution. Typical uses include high-g durability testing, shock and drop, HALT/HASS screening and powertrain measurements.

Built-in low-impedance IEPE electronics deliver low noise and a wide-bandwidth response, and high-quality ceramics ensure long-term stability. The 11 mm cube titanium-alloy housing is laser welded to IP68, each axis has its own M2.5 mounting hole for improved coupling and calibration, and insulating mounting hardware is included as standard.

High-quality piezoelectric ceramic in a shear structure gives a wide-band response with 1% non-linearity and long-term stability for years of accurate measurement.

Built-in IEPE electronics

Integrated low-impedance circuit with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation. Spectral noise of 80 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz and 0.002 g rms broadband resolution.

Rugged titanium cube

Laser-welded titanium housing sealed to IP68, rated to 2,500 g rms vibration and 8,000 g pk shock. M2.5 mounting holes on every axis and an isolated mounting plate as standard.
