B02YG36

The B02YG36 is a base-isolated micro-miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with a custom ASIC signal conditioning circuit. With 10 mV/g sensitivity and a ±500 g range it is the higher-sensitivity model of the pair, giving a lower noise floor for general vibration testing on very small or light test articles. Typical uses include powertrain NVH, small-component and PCB testing, environmental stress screening and tests where installation space is limited.

The laser-welded low-density titanium-alloy housing measures just 7.8 × 7.8 × 7.1 mm and weighs 1.5 g, and an integrated insulated mounting shell isolates the signal ground from the test structure (≥ 10⁸ Ω) to prevent ground loops. An integral high-temperature cable and adhesive base mount make it easy to install where a threaded stud is impractical, and it delivers simultaneous X, Y and Z data from a single mounting point.

Ultra-low mass

At 1.5 g and 7.8 × 7.8 × 7.1 mm, the B02YG36 adds almost no mass loading, so lightweight structures, small components and PCBs behave as they would unloaded, and it fits where nothing else will.

Custom ASIC electronics

A highly integrated ASIC gives a low-impedance IEPE output with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation. Spectral noise of 40 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz and 0.001 g rms broadband resolution.

Base isolated

The integrated insulated mounting shell gives ≥ 10⁸ Ω isolation between signal ground and the mounting surface, so multi-channel tests on conductive structures stay free of ground loops. Laser-welded titanium, IP68, rated to 1,500 g rms and 2,000 g pk.
