Overview

The B07Y42 is a high-sensitivity three-axis IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear sensing element with a wide-bandwidth response and a low-noise circuit optimized for low vibration amplitudes. With 200 mV/g sensitivity, a ±25 g range and a ±5% response from 1 Hz, it is the widest-range member of the family, with 200 mV/g and a ±25 g range in the lightest housing for structural and machinery work at moderate levels. Typical uses include building and bridge vibration, floor and foundation response, modal testing of large structures and low-level machinery monitoring.

The built-in low-impedance circuit gives a stable low-frequency response and spectral noise of just 1.2 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz. The laser-welded titanium-alloy 32.4 × 32.4 × 14 mm housing weighs 41.5 g, bolts down through a ⌀5.1 mm center hole at any rotational orientation, and keeps an M2.5 mounting thread on each axis for coupling and calibration. Three M5 connectors bring out the X, Y and Z channels, and insulated mounting hardware ships as standard.

200 mV/g output with spectral noise of 3 / 1.2 / 0.8 µg/√Hz at 10 / 100 / 1000 Hz and 0.00005 g rms broadband resolution, so the micro-g amplitudes of buildings, bridges and foundations come through clearly above the noise floor.

Three axes, one bolt

Simultaneous X, Y and Z measurement from a single 32.4 × 32.4 × 14 mm block with ≤ 5% transverse sensitivity. The center through-hole mounts at any angle, and per-axis M2.5 threads make coupling checks and calibration straightforward.

Stable low-frequency IEPE electronics

Low-impedance circuit with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation, 8–12 V bias and a ≤ 1 s discharge time constant holds the ±5% response from 1 Hz to 4 kHz, with resonance ≥ 20 kHz. Rated to 200 g rms and 500 g pk.
