Overview

The B05B06 is a miniature uniaxial IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with a broadband response to 10 kHz. With 50 mV/g sensitivity and a ±100 g range it is a high-sensitivity model in the family for low-level vibration on light structures where signal-to-noise matters more than g range. Typical uses include modal surveys on light structures, vibration control, machinery monitoring and low-amplitude R&D measurements.

Integrated microminiature circuits give a low-impedance, low-noise output with a good sensitivity temperature response, and a memory-alloy fastener keeps the shear element stable and reliable. The HEX 10.1 × 12.6 mm stainless-steel or titanium-alloy housing is laser welded to IP68 for high sealing grade and strength, with a low-profile side connector and an M3 mounting thread at the base.

Laser-welded housing

Laser-welded stainless-steel or titanium-alloy housing sealed to IP68 with a memory-alloy fastener and shear structure, rated to 800 g rms vibration and 2,000 g pk shock.
