Breaking Ground on the LNS High-Precision Sensor Technology Park
On April 23, 2026, LNS officially broke ground on the LNS High-Precision Sensor Technology Park in Shandong, China. It is the largest single investment in our history and the foundation for the next chapter of LNS sensor technology.
The park will bring sensor research, development, manufacturing, and logistics together on one purpose-built campus. For our customers and partners around the world, it means more capacity, faster innovation, and shorter lead times on the accelerometers, impact hammers, cable assemblies, and data acquisition systems you rely on.

Why we are building it
Demand for high-precision vibration and acoustic sensors is growing across aerospace, automotive, energy, civil infrastructure, and industrial condition monitoring. Our existing facilities have served us well, but we have reached the point where the next step in quality and volume needs a site designed for it from the ground up.
The Technology Park is that site. It consolidates design, development, production, and delivery in one location, so an idea can move from the R&D lab to the production line to a customer’s loading dock without leaving the campus. Keeping every stage of the process under one roof is how we protect the consistency and traceability our customers expect from an LNS sensor.
In short, the park lets us design, develop, and deliver the next generation of high-precision sensors faster, at greater scale, and to an even higher standard.

What it means for our customers and partners
The park is being built around three things our customers and distributors ask us for most.
Expanded R&D capabilities. Dedicated laboratory and test space will let our engineering teams shorten development cycles for new sensor designs, specialty variants, and custom configurations. Expect more new models, and faster answers when you bring us an application that does not fit a standard catalog part.
Scaled manufacturing. New production lines and expanded calibration capacity will raise our output of accelerometers, impact hammers, cable assemblies, and DAQ hardware to keep pace with global demand. Higher volume on modern lines also means tighter unit-to-unit consistency.
Strengthened delivery infrastructure. On-site warehousing and logistics will cut the time between a confirmed order and a shipped sensor. Together with our regional offices in Hillsboro (Oregon), Hong Kong, and Chimalhuacán (Mexico), that means shorter lead times for customers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Nothing about how you work with LNS changes today. Your regional office, your distributor, and your LNS contact remain the same. What changes over the coming years is how much we can build, how quickly we can innovate, and how fast we can get product to you.
Thank you
None of this would be possible without the people who make LNS what it is.
To our employees, thank you for your dedication, craftsmanship, and belief in what we are building together. The park is a direct result of the work you do every day.
To our partners and distributors, thank you for growing alongside us and trusting us with your most demanding challenges. Your feedback from the field shapes what we build next.
And to our customers, thank you for pushing us to innovate, and for choosing LNS as your partner in precision measurement.
Looking ahead
At the groundbreaking ceremony, our General Manager set out a clear vision: the park is not just a new building. It is a platform for the next chapter of LNS’s growth in sensor technology, and a commitment to bringing precision and reliability to the industries that depend on it.
Construction is well underway and we will share progress updates here and on LinkedIn as the campus takes shape. If you have questions about how the new facility affects your projects or supply plans, reach out to your regional LNS office or your distributor. We would be glad to talk.
