Embedded OEM Accelerometer · Low-voltage 3 – 5.5 VDC · Pin-out · 10 – 100 mV/g options

Overview

The B05H01 is a compact embedded accelerometer designed to be built into your own product or instrument. A compression-mode piezoelectric ceramic element and a small integrated circuit sit inside a ⌀9.1 × 13.2 mm stainless-steel housing that is hermetically sealed by laser welding, giving a rugged, wide-band sensor with pin-type outputs that solder straight onto a PCB. With 50 mV/g sensitivity and a ±25 g range it is suited to modal testing, small-structure testing and OEM condition-monitoring designs, and the same core is available with sensitivities from 10 to 100 mV/g.

It runs from a single 3 – 5.5 VDC supply with a 2.5 V output bias, so it works directly with microcontroller ADCs and battery-powered electronics with no IEPE constant-current source. The response is flat within ±3 dB from 1 Hz to 13 kHz with a resonance above 25 kHz, spectral noise of 4.8 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz and 0.0002 g rms broadband resolution, at just 4.5 g.

Why engineers choose the B05H01

Designed to embed

Pin-type outputs solder directly to your board, and the compact ⌀9.1 × 13.2 mm cylindrical core drops into tight enclosures. No connector, no cable, no mounting stud, just a sealed sensing element for your own product.

Low-voltage, no IEPE supply

Runs from 3 – 5.5 VDC with a 2.5 V mid-rail output bias, so it interfaces straight to a microcontroller or DAQ input without a constant-current conditioner. Output impedance ≤ 1 kΩ, spectral noise 4.8 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz.

Sealed and rugged

Compression-mode ceramic element in a laser-welded stainless-steel housing sealed to IP68, rated to 500 g rms vibration and 5,000 g pk shock and −50 to +120 °C, for stable, reliable operation over the life of your product.

Typical applications

  • Modal testing
  • Small-structure testing
  • OEM machine and condition-monitoring modules
  • Embedded vibration sensing in instruments and equipment
  • Battery-powered and portable vibration devices
