B02Y034

The B02Y034 is a miniature three-axis IEPE accelerometer built on a piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with a wide-band frequency response and an integrated microminiature built-in circuit. With 10 mV/g sensitivity and a ±500 g range it is a high-range model in the family, built for high-level triaxial vibration and moderate shock on light structures. Typical uses include HALT/HASS screening, automotive NVH on powertrain and chassis components, durability testing and general triaxial monitoring.

High-quality piezoelectric ceramics ensure long-term stability for years of accurate measurement, and the built-in low-impedance circuit keeps noise low with a well-behaved sensitivity response over temperature. The laser-welded lightweight titanium-alloy housing measures just 9.1 × 9.1 × 7.2 mm and weighs 3.5 g, so it adds almost no mass to small or light test articles. A single 8-36 4-pin connector carries all three channels on one cable, and the adhesive base mount lets it go on quickly wherever there is a flat surface.

Minimal mass loading

At 3.5 g and 9.1 × 9.1 × 7.2 mm, the B02Y034 barely changes the response of PCBs, small components and light structures, so what you measure on all three axes is the structure, not the sensor.

Three axes, one mounting point

Simultaneous X, Y and Z measurement from a single miniature block with ≤ 5% transverse sensitivity and an 8-36 4-pin connector for one four-core cable. Adhesive mounting for fast installation on any flat surface.

Built-in IEPE electronics

Integrated microminiature low-impedance circuit with 2–20 mA constant-current excitation and 8–12 V bias. Spectral noise of 40 µg/√Hz at 100 Hz, resonance ≥ 20 kHz, and a titanium housing sealed to IP68 rated to 1,000 g rms vibration and 3,000 g pk shock.
