Overview
The C02B01 is a charge-mode (PE) uniaxial vibration control accelerometer built on a classic piezoelectric ceramic shear structure with a wide-bandwidth frequency response and a low sensitivity temperature response. With 10 pC/g charge sensitivity and a ±1,500 g range it is the higher-range member of the family, with 10 pC/g and ±1,500 g for shaker control and monitoring at higher vibration levels. Typical uses include closed-loop shaker vibration control, environmental and qualification testing, engine and machinery vibration and general monitoring where a charge amplifier is already in the chain.
With no built-in electronics the sensor works from −40 °C to +160 °C and pairs with any charge amplifier or charge-input vibration controller, which sets the low-frequency limit of the system. High-quality ceramics ensure long-term stability, and the classic core structure is stable, reliable and quick to install and remove between tests. The laser-welded stainless-steel HEX 16.1 × 19.1 mm housing weighs 25 g, is sealed to IP68, screws down on an M5 (10-32 opt.) stud and carries a side M5 (10-32 opt.) connector.
Why engineers choose the C02B01
Made for vibration control
A stable, repeatable 10 pC/g charge output with a flat ±10% response from 0.5 Hz to 8 kHz and resonance ≥ 30 kHz gives the controller a clean reference signal. 1% non-linearity and ≤ 5% transverse sensitivity, rated to 3,000 g rms vibration and 5,000 g pk shock.
Charge mode, no electronics
With nothing inside to saturate or overheat, the C02B01 runs to +160 °C and works with any charge amplifier or charge-input controller: 800 pF capacitance and ≥ 10¹¹ Ω insulation resistance for a low-noise, long-term stable signal.
Quick to fit, built to last
Laser-welded stainless-steel HEX 16.1 × 19.1 mm housing sealed to IP68 and weighing 25 g. M5 × 3.7 (10-32 opt.) mounting stud torqued to 3.0 N·m, with a side M5 (10-32 opt.) connector for a low profile on the shaker table. Easy to install and remove between test setups.
